My tool box consist of the Adobe Creative Suite – Web Premium package. I also use a variety of open source tools.

Photoshop

I primarily use Photoshop to design layouts. I’ve used this tool for the better part of five years and actually began using it to edit or enhance old pictures.

Illustrator

I’ve used Illustrator for a little over six years. I also use this tool to design layouts for Adobe Flash (when it was relevant). However, I mostly use it to draw, design business cards and logos.

Dreamweaver

When I first began designing web pages (in 2007), I specifically used Dreamweaver 8, Design View. Once I learned how to code I began using Aptana, WeBuilder and a variety of other editors. I eventually went back to using Dreamweaver for developing. It’s a powerful tool that offers a great deal of features.

Flash Pro

Flash is the sole reason I began taking web designing seriously. It’s the tool that earned me my first pay check as a web designer. Unfortunately, Flash is not as popular as it used to be, but I still find use for it.
